Brinker International Inc. of Dallas recently purchased a building permit valued at $862,000 to complete the construction of its new Rogers restaurant.
On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina is near completion at Rogers’ Scottsdale Center, just north of Johnny Carino’s restaurant and just west of the Malco Theater. The new restaurant will be at 577 N. 46th St.
Brinker owns several restaurant franchises, including Chili’s Grill & Bar, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Corner Bakery Café, Cozymel’s Coastal Mexican Grill, Big Bowl, Rockfish Seafood Grill and eatZi’s Market & Bakery. There is also a Chili’s in Scottsdale Center.
Arkansas has only one other On The Border, located in Hot Springs.
Founded in 1975, Brinker has more than 1,200 restaurants worldwide with 90,000 employees and system-wide sales exceeding $3 billion annually.
