Wal-Mart’s tack selection must have disappointed two El Dorado equestrians when they took a midnight horse ride through the grocery section of the town’s Wal-Mart Supercenter.

According to a report written by Tia Lyons in the El Dorado News-Times, city and county law officials corralled El Dorado natives Clint Evers, 23, and John Carelock, 20, in the parking lot of the store at 2730 N. West Ave.

The two men were arrested on April 9 for public intoxication. Evers, an award-winning rodeo rider, also faces charges of disorderly conduct for trying to escape police by racing his horse back and forth through the lot.

According to the News-Times, no one was injured by the incident, but the horses left a large pile of manure by the main entrance.
