John Sisemore and Frank Ippoliti planned to open Dadoo’s Pizzeria on April 15 in The Laundry Building on West Avenue in Fayetteville, within a block of the city’s Dickson Street entertainment district. The 2,800-SF space previously housed Georgia’s Gyros, a chain based in Pulaski County that closed its Fayetteville location in November after two years of operation.

Sisemore said Dadoo’s uses brick ovens to cook its pizzas. He said he has wanted to open a pizza place since he was a child, when his mother managed a couple of Mr. Burger locations.

Sisemore also owns two Fast Trax convenience stores, one each in Fayetteville and Springdale; Freight Direct of Rogers; ABC Concrete Co. of Lowell; and USA Check Cashers of Farmington.

All of that is in addition to Sisemore’s day job — fishing.

“I fish professionally for bass,” he said.

Dadoo’s can seat about 120 diners. Sisemore has applied for a liquor license to serve beer and wine at Dadoo’s.
