The Dan Patrick Show on ESPN Radio, heard locally on KREB-AM, 1190 (The Fan), on March 21 had an informal poll asking its sports listeners to vote on their favorite Walton.
The five choices given included former NCAA and NBA basketball star Bill Walton, his son, Luke, now a player for the University of Arizona, former New York Jets football coach Joe Walton, the fictional John Boy Walton of television fame and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. founder Sam Walton.
The results of the poll were never mentioned.
