Larry Palmer recently opened Rent-A-Tent and strengthened his grasp on special event sales in Northwest Arkansas. Rent-A-Tent, previously known as Don’s Canopy Rentals, offers white and colorful special event tents that are 100-4,600 SF in size.

Palmer also owns Arkansas Portable Toilet Rentals, and he operates both businesses out of one Springdale location.

Although Palmer said he plans to market Rent-A-Tent aggressively in Northwest Arkansas, his two businesses will not offer any package deals for cross-customers.

Palmer said that although Rent-A-Tent was profitable when he bought it in March, he plans to double the company’s sales within the first year of business.

Two new employees help Palmer operate Rent-A-Tent, and the company installs and removes the larger rented tents for its clients.
