New York-Style Deli Comes to Fayetteville
Beth Eagles plans to open Reuben Delight, a New York-style deli, by Sept. 1 in Fayetteville’s Fiesta Square shopping center.
The restaurant will be managed by Larry Flowers, who owned five delis in Southern California at different times before moving to Northwest Arkansas.
The 1,350-SF space will seat 24 diners. The location previously housed Freidman’s Jewelry. Eagles has spent about $40,000 to renovate the space.
Flowers said Reuben Delight will serve fresh-cut meats and will be the only restaurant in the area serving Vienna Beef products from Chicago.
The menu advertises sandwiches, plates, hot dogs, lox, desserts and bulk foods to go.
Half-pound sandwiches sell for about $7. The most expensive item on the menu, the lox plate, goes for $11.
Reuben Delight will be open for lunch only, but Flowers said the business may remain open through the afternoon for take-out orders.
