No Depression for Lucinda

Former Fayetteville resident Lucinda Williams will grace the cover of the May-June issue of No Depression, an alternative country magazine in Nashville, Tenn.
The cover will be a painting of Williams done by noted folk artist Jon Langford. And the article inside is written by Silas House, a fiction writer from Kentucky.
Williams, the daughter of renowned poet Miller Williams of Fayetteville, was named among VH1’s 100 Greatest Women of Rock. Her album “Car Wheels on a Gravel Road” was also named one of the top 90 albums of the decade of the 90’s by Spin magazine.
