Bankruptcy Gets a Charge
Things are looking up in the Charger Inc. bankruptcy case.
The former Springdale trucking company filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Dec. 28, 1999, and closed its doors. Employees are now beginning to receive unpaid wages for their final paychecks, and vendors are starting to recoup unpaid debts.

“We’re still raising money to benefit the creditors,” Lee said. “We’re about two-thirds of the way through. We’ve gotten about $6 million so far.”Things are looking up in the Charger Inc. bankruptcy case.
