Steve Caldwell, the assistant sports editor for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, will leave his job there at the end of January to work as the editor of “a business-type journal” being published by the Cornerstone Group of Fayetteville.
Caldwell, who oversees the Democrat-Gazette’s sports desk in Northwest Arkansas, has been with the newspaper since 1984. Three sports reporters will remain in Northwest Arkansas for the Democrat-Gazette.
The Cornerstone Group is “committed to blending Biblical wisdom and business excellence,” according to the company’s brochures.
