KMCK Leads in Arbitron Ratings

KMCK, Power 105.7 FM, was Northwest Arkansas’ leading radio station in the most recent Arbitron Co. ratings.

The station, owned by Cumulus Broadcasting Inc., had an 11.6 share of listeners more than 12 years of age in the 6 a.m. to midnight time period from September through December. Power 105.7 plays contemporary hits and pop music.

In Northwest Arkansas, the majority of radio stations are owned by Cumulus (with seven) and Clear Channel Communications, known locally as Radio Central (with four). Although Cumulus had the No. 1 station in the area, Clear Channel had the next four slots in the list.
