Families Plan Rogers Packaging Empire

Two local family run business realms are moving onto a shared plot of 38 acres in Rogers industrial park. The move will create an empire of packaging with designers, manufacturers, printers and distributors all perched on the same patch of land on Bekaert Drive.

A group of three brothers-in-law — Bill Stribling of Stribling Packaging, Patrick Sbarra of New Creature and Kim Campbell of Cargo Net — and Ro-ark Printing Inc. bought the 38 acres of land Nov. 21.

Ro-ark, owned by Ron and Don Garman, plans to settle on 15 acres, leaving 23 acres to the Stribling family.

Already, some packages designed on the Stribling campus use Ro-ark to print its labels, but Sbarra said the close proximity of the new settlement should further intertwine the pack of customer bases.

We hear that the Stribling family businesses intend to build a 258,000-SF building to suit the organizations. Of the three, Cargo Net will use the most space as they will also maintain shop in the existing 245,000-SF building, bringing its floor space to about 300,000 SF. Groundbreaking for the project is set for mid-January.
