Loafin? Joe?s to Open in Rogers

Loafin’ Joe’s fifth restaurant should open by May 1 in Rogers, says Rob McCain, the franchisee. The restaurant will be at 1313 W. Walnut St. in a building that previously housed the Golden Fried Chicken restaurant.
Joe Weber of Springdale owns the franchise rights to Loafin’ Joe’s, which was called Sub Station until the name was changed in 1998. Weber owns two Loafin’ Joe’s sandwich shops in Fayetteville. Another two — in Rogers and Lowell — are operated by Rick McCain, Rob McCain’s brother.
Loafin’ Joe’s specializes in sandwiches, salads and soup.
The McCains are originally from Denver, and have lived in Northwest Arkansas for the past seven years.
If all goes well with his first franchise, Rob McCain says, he plans to open more Loafin’ Joe’s restaurants.
