Chris and Kerri Elders, through their company Elder Construction Inc. of Springdale, have $3.6 million worth of projects going on in Springdale and Farmington.
The Elderses are still negotiating with a pair of local banks to see which will handle the $3 million in financing needed for their 72-unit Butterfield Townhouse project on Townhouse Coach Road in Springdale. The townhouses will be 1,200-SF each and contain two bedrooms featuring master baths.
The units will also be furnished with washers, dryers and refrigerators.
Thirteen of the couple’s 26 duplexes in the Grasslands Subdivision on Rainsong Road in Farmington are currently under construction thanks to a $570,000 loan from Springdale Bank & Trust Co. and filed June 24.
The Elderses are still seeking tenants at both locations. Both the townhouses and duplexes are equipped with gas fireplaces.
