Cracker Barrel Plans June 21 Opening
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store plans to open a 9,520-SF restaurant and store June 21 at the Ozark Factory Outlet Stores shopping center at the intersection of U.S. Highways 71 and 412 in Springdale.
The Lebanon, Tenn.-based restaurant chain bought the 2.6 acre lot for $672,000 from Mathias Properties of Springdale.
Cracker Barrel, which owns down-home, country-cooking restaurants throughout the South, originally planned to build the store and restaurant on Futrall Drive near the intersection of U.S. Highways 71 and 62 in Fayetteville. But the company abandoned that plan after it learned planned construction at the intersection would decrease visibility for the restaurant if it were built there.
