Friday, Eldredge & Clark comes to Fayetteville
The state’s largest law firm has opened a Northwest Arkansas office.
Friday, Eldredge & Clark of Little Rock has dispatched three attorneys to its new location at 235 E. Millsap Road in Fayetteville. The posh, 4,000-SF office will be home to attorneys Jim Smith, Cliff Plunkett and Jason Hendren. A.D. McAllister, the firm’s “of counsel,” will also occupy space at the new location.
The firm, which has 77 lawyers statewide, already serves more than 100 clients in Northwest Arkansas. About one third of Friday, Eldredge & Clark’s staff are estate planning and tax attorneys — the largest such group in the state.
Smith specializes in those services and has brought those special skills to the Fayetteville office.
Senior partner William H. Sutton said the firm’s strategy is to offer all of its specialties in Northwest Arkansas.
“We video conference with our attorneys in Fayetteville and expect that it’s the same as if they were here,” Sutton said.
Eldredge & Clark recently got a $150 million judgment against Brunswick Corp. in Chicago dropped and represents Browning Arms Inc., Daisy Manufacturing Co., Dillards Inc. and the Union Pacific Railroad.
