Rogers Schools To Add Elementary

Rogers Public Schools recently purchased a building permit valued at $3.8 million for a new elementary school.
The school, not yet named, will be the 11th elementary school in Rogers. Construction has just begun on the project, which is targeted to open in August. It will be on South First Street.
The school will be a total of about 58,000 SF, with 25 classrooms. It will be built to house a maximum of 600 students.
SSI Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor for the elementary school.
Rogers also plans to open its new high school on S. Dixieland Road in August. Oakridge Builders Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor for the high school.
