Rick Steves of Europe Through the Back Door will be in Fort Smith on November 6th, as the featured speaker at the bi-annual Fall Into Bonneville event. As host, writer and producer of a long-running TV series and author of more than 30 travel guidebooks, Rick Steves’ popularity is undeniable.
Steves will speak, sign books and travel gear beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, in the Echols Conference Center on the University of Arkansas Fort Smith campus. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased on line at www.bonnevillehouse.com or calling 479 782-7854.

Over the past 15 years, Steves has hosted more than 100 travel shows for public television. His current Rick Steves’ Europe has grown to 80 half-hour shows carried by more than 300 public television stations annually. His presence extends far from television.
His first self-published travel skills book, Europe Through the Back Door, was released in 1980 and sold 2,000 copies. Today, Steves’ over 30 guidebooks is the bestselling international guidebook series in the United States.
