Platinum Distributing wins Red Bull contest

Van Buren-based Platinum Distributing has been recognized by Red Bull as the winner of the 2009 Red Bull Rising contest. Platinum competed with 13 distributors from five Southeastern states to win the title.
The Red Bull Rising contest was judged on each distributor’s product placement in each of its accounts. Platinum maintained the highest level of placement in the local market. Platinum Distributing provides service for nine counties in the region distributing Red Bull, A&W Root Beer, Sunkist, Snapple, 7UP, Fiji, and several other brands. Platinum employs 20 full-time and eight part-time employees.
