Gov. Mike Beebe announced the following judicial appointment:

Kristin Clark, Russellville, as District Court Judge of the Dardanelle and Danville Districts of Yell County. Appointment expires December 31, 2014. Position is currently open.

Edward “Allen” Gordon, Morrilton, as Special Associate Justice to the Arkansas Supreme Court for the case styled TV Guide Online Holdings, LLC v. Sharon Roller, Valerie Murphy and Emily Smith. Replaces Justice Courtney Hudson Goodson, who has recused herself from this case.

Beebe also announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Cecil Alexander, Heber Springs, reappointed to the Arkansas Racing Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2018.

Kevin Crass, Little Rock, reappointed to the War Memorial Stadium Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2020.

Bonnie Hardwell, Magnolia, to the Columbia County Quorum Court, District 8. Appointment expires December 31, 2014. Replaces Terry Williams.

Philip A. Hood, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Workers' Compensation Commission. Appointment expires December 5, 2018.

Bob Mouser, Harrison, to the Arkansas Lifeline Individual Verification Effort Corporation. Appointment expires March 1, 2015. Replaces P.T. Sanders.

Frank Shaw, Conway, to the Faulkner County Quorum Court, District 8. Appointment expires December 31, 2014. Replaces Mark Bailey.

Sherman Tate, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. Appointment expires December 31, 2015. Replaces Jimmy Newell.

Dawne Vandiver, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Parole Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2020. Replaces Carolyn Robinson.
