Small Business Administration Announces 2012 Award Winners
The U. S. Small Business Administration announced its Arkansas District winners, which will be honored at a luncheon next Tuesday, April 24.
The luncheon, which will be held at Verizon Arena, is hosted by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas. Talk Business host Roby Brock will emcee the event.
The 2012 Small Business Week award winners are:
Small Business Person of the Year – Team: Arkansas Power Electronics, International (APEI)
Small Business Person of the Year (Runner-up): Martha D. Moore, President, McCormick Asphalt & Paving, Inc.
Financial Services Champion: Michael C. Fasulo, Vice President/Business Development Officer, Arkansas Capital Corporation
Veteran Small Business Champion (District and Regional Winner): Johnny Dillard, President, Central Research, Inc.
Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business: Construction Network, Inc.
The 2012 Arkansas District Director Awards are:
Entrepreneurial Leader in Education: Dr. Don B. Bradley III, Executive Director, Small Business National Advancement Center, University of Central Arkansas
Champions of Youth Entrepreneurship: Matthew and Maria Hampton, Elevate Entrepreneurship Systems
Top Arkansas Lender: Arvest Bank
