Griffin Nearing Half-Million Dollar Mark At Year’s End
Talk Business sources confirm that Rep. Tim Griffin, R-Little Rock, completed his fourth quarter fundraising with more than $175,000 raised during the period.
A final report is not due until Jan. 31.
These numbers are estimates at this time, but Griffin will report about $475,000 cash-on-hand at year’s end and his year-to-date fundraising total will top $915,000.
Griffin paid off nearly $200,000 debt from his 2010 campaign in the second quarter. He has spent approximately $240,000 this year on expenses that include polling, fundraising, mailing and campaign personnel, according to previous Federal Election Commission reports.
Griffin, a first-term Congressman, does not have an announced opponent for 2012.
