St. Edward adds to physician staff

Arkansas native Dr. Dwight Johnson — born in Fort Chaffee — joined St. Edward Mercy Clinic – Family Medicine in early July. He specializes in family medicine and was a physician at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville.

Johnson earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Arkansas in
Fayetteville, and earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is board certified in family medicine and delivered a baby in an air ambulance at 23,000 feet while practicing in remote Alaska.

The St. Edward Mercy Clinic operates three physician offices and employs more than 70 physicians.
