Boozman Weighs In On Congressional Redistricting

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R) says Fayetteville should remain in the Third Congressional District, his former House seat.
In an interview with our content partner, The City Wire, Boozman said, “I’m very much in favor of keeping Fayetteville in the 3rd (District).”
He added that he is staying out of what has turned into a sensitive situation. “But it is a funny-looking map. I think that sums it up,” Boozman added.
He said the Northwest Arkansas region is connected on too many fronts — the University of Arkansas system, Veterans’ Affairs, infrastructure, etc. — to be divided by an “unfortunate” political boundary.
