Haag Brown Commercial announced that Jeremy Osment, a Northeast Arkansas developer and entrepreneur, has acquired Harley-Davidson of Jonesboro. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The dealership has been a part of the Northeast Arkansas riding community since Bob and Betty Marsh founded it in 1975. Their son, Bryan, and his wife, Carolyn, took over in 1995, carrying on the business alongside Betty until her retirement in 2006. Osment purchased the business from Bryan and Carolyn.
“The Marsh family spent five decades building something that matters to this community. Finding the right person to carry that forward was just as important as the transaction itself. Jeremy is exactly the right fit. He is invested in Northeast Arkansas in a way that goes beyond business, and we have no doubt the dealership will benefit from the energy and commitment the Osment family brings to every project they tackle. Haag Brown looks forward to assisting in the growth of this new endeavor,” said Jeff Armstrong, Haag Brown Commercial.
Osment is a Trumann native and founder of Osment Construction, a residential and commercial development company with a deep footprint across the region.
Under new ownership, the dealership will undergo facility renovations and bring on expanded service and sales staff to meet growing demand. Osment is also actively pursuing a rider training program.
