John Ray Raines

We are saddened to announce the passing of John Ray Raines. John was a beloved member of the community known for his kindness and caring spirit. He is survived by his wife, Jane Raines, and three children: Michael, Sarah, and Emily. John was an avid outdoorsman, often enjoying fishing and hiking with his family. The family will receive friends at a memorial service held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Green Valley Community Center at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the local wildlife conservation fund or a memorial tree planted in John’s honor.
