Stephen Loarn Waters

Stephen Loarn Waters (65) of Fort Smith, Arkansas died on November 12, 2025. He was born in Van Buren, Arkansas in 1960 to Theodore Waters and Tawie Smith. He attended Northside High School and was a retired truck driver.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Ted Waters, and his mother Tawie Smith. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Catherine Waters; children Candyce (Michael) Gabucci of Van Buren, AR, Stephen (Ashley) Waters of Roland, OK and Loran Posey of Tahlequah, OK. Surviving grandchildren include Ariel Posey, Alex Posey, Brinley Skidmore, Alexis Gabucci, Gabriel Posey, Landon Gabucci, Adley Waters, Dexter Posey, Asher Posey, Sophia Gabucci, and sister Robbie Ross.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 2:00pm at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
