Kenneth Walter Rohrbach, age 82, of Fort Smith, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Ken was born on December 19, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Kenneth A. Rohrbach and Rella (Fain) Rohrbach.

He proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Army, served in Vietnam, and retired as a U.S. Special Forces Green Beret. As a veteran, he exemplified strength, courage, and unwavering dedication. Ken was also a 32nd Degree Freemason with the Scottish Rite.

After retiring from military service, Ken transitioned to civilian life with the same work ethic and leadership, holding several management positions. His favorite role was serving as General Manager at B&E Distribution Company in Romulus, Michigan.

Ken was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of over 61 years, Shiloh D. Rohrbach. He was a loving father to three daughters: Carol Rohrbach (John Mascho), Kimberly Bricker (Tim Bricker), and Theresa Krieger. He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren—Michael Kenneth Hart, Lauren Brown, Austin Henderson, and Savanna Krieger—and a great-grandfather to Ella Brown. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Krieger. Ken shared a special bond with the family dog, Dakota, who he affectionately called his “baby boy.”

A member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Fort Smith, Ken had a deep love for the outdoors. He spent many years enjoying hunting, horseback riding, and motorcycle trips. He also had a sharp competitive edge when it came to playing pool. Whether in the woods, on a trail, or around a pool table, Ken approached life with passion, focus, and determination.

Ken will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, moral integrity, patriotism, and above all, his love for family. His legacy will live on in all who had the honor of knowing him.
