Janet L Hillebrand

Janet Loal Hillebrand, age 79, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. She was born on February 15, 1946, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, to Oliver “Bud” and Florinda (Hays) Van Orden.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hillebrand; her parents; her sister, Donna Hale; and two infant brothers.

She is survived by her brother, Bert Van Orden; her dear friend, Connie West, who was like a sister to her; and her niece, Stephanie Phillips.

Public Viewing will be available Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 8:00am- 5:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Janet will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Robert, at Greenlawn Cemetery during a private service.
