Katie Katherleen Honley

Katherleen Honley, 99, passed away October 26, 2025, in Fort Smith. She was born August 24, 1926 in Humbolt, TN to Dewey and Edna Gordon.

Katherleen was a woman of faith. She loved her family, and had a great love for all animals, especially cats. Living through the great depression she developed a strong work ethic and did many interesting jobs over her lifetime including making munitions for the war effort during WWII.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Honley; sons, Mitchell, Marvin, and Mark Honley.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lingo and Husband Charlie Lingo; daughter-in-law, Jane Honley; brother, Neil Gordon of Arizona; sister, Betty Clohessy of Idaho; grandchildren, Rachel Burton, Paul Honley and Matthew Lingo; great-grandchildren, Rayce and Reece Burton.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
