Janie McNally

Janie McNally, age 80, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

She was born on January 29, 1945, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to LR and Alma McNally. Janie had a long and fulfilling career in the aviation industry, spending most of her professional life with Braniff Airlines. She lived for many years in El Paso, Texas, before relocating to Oklahoma City to be closer to her daughter, Amy Wewers.

In recent years, Janie found great joy in traveling with her daughter and grandson, creating cherished memories along the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janie is survived by her daughter Amy Wewers; her son Jody Wewers; grandsons Joey and Corwin Wewers; her brother Mike McNally and his wife Carol; niece Melissa Blevins; and other extended family members who will miss her dearly.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 201 N 19th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. The Rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Mass at 10:00 a.m. Janie will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery following the service.
