Bank of America center in Tulsa to become Arvest Tower
Arvest Bank recently acquired the naming rights to the 32-floor Bank of America Center building at 15 W. Sixth St. in downtown Tulsa. After a renovation project, Arvest Wealth Management will occupy the first floor of the 288,776-square-foot building, which will be rebranded to Arvest Tower.
Fayetteville-chartered Arvest declined to provide financial terms of the deal or renovation costs. Price Family Properties owns the building, which was built in 1967 and is the fifth tallest in Tulsa and the ninth tallest in Oklahoma.
“We are excited to have one of the nation’s premier banks as an anchor tenant,” said Jackie Price, the company’s president. “Together with Arvest, we are committed to contributing to the growth and vibrancy of downtown Tulsa.”
Arvest Tower’s rebranding is expected to be completed in February. Construction has started on the first floor to house about 25 Arvest Wealth Management employees and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. Arvest will occupy 10,844 square feet on the first floor.
“We are thrilled to take this next step in our commitment to downtown Tulsa by acquiring the naming rights to this landmark building,” said Kirk Hays, president of Arvest Bank — Tulsa region. “This decision reflects our long-term investment in Tulsa’s future as we plan to be great corporate neighbors for years to come. We look forward to providing downtown customers an exceptional experience, complete with free and convenient parking.”
Arvest will continue to provide banking services from its branch to the north of the building at Fifth and Main streets.
According to the most recent report from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Arvest Bank had total assets of $26.28 billion as of June 30.
