The Wolfe Street Foundation (WSF) recently hosted a ribbon cutting and open house for its new Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) Teen Center, located at 11715 Rainwood Road in Little Rock.

This center marks a significant milestone as it will house YEP, the state’s first community-based youth recovery program.

Funded in part by the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas and supported by TOV Wellness, the Youth Empowerment Project is a pioneering initiative in Arkansas, offering a dedicated peer support model specifically for young people in grades 7-12.

YEP is designed to support youth recovery and address substance use disorder through comprehensive, community-based resources. The new teen center features onsite peer support staff, linkage to mental health services, and a welcoming lounge and activity center for teens. Additional amenities include access to healthy snacks, support for life and academic success, and mental health resources.

“We’re excited to launch the state’s first community-based youth recovery program right here in Little Rock,” said Justin Buck, WSF’s executive director. “With generous support from the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas and curriculum support from TOV Wellness, young people and their families will finally find help to build happy, healthy futures without substance use.”
