According to a news release, LIVSN Designs, a Bentonville-based outdoor apparel company, has launched three new women’s products as part of an expansion supported by a successful fundraising round spearheaded by RZC Investments.

In December, LIVSN Designs announced raising a round of seed capital led by RZC Investments, a Bentonville-based investment platform for Steuart and Tom Walton. Financial terms were not disclosed. The investment was expected to support LIVSN staff expansion, further diversify its product line and help to scale distribution. Other investors included Cadron Capital Partners and Techstars.

Following are the new LIVSN Designs products:

  • Women’s Ecotrek Trail Pants
  • Women’s Ecotrek Trail Shorts
  • Women’s Flex Canvas Shorts

“After years of design and testing, we feel comfortable rolling out our expanded women’s line with products that are every bit equal to their award-winning male counterparts,” said Andrew Gibbs-Dabney, founder and CEO of LIVSN Designs. “Everyone needs clothing that can perform well in a wide variety of environments, and our products provide that while maintaining ethically sound and environmentally friendly production practices.”

LIVSN also added new product colors, including dusk, plum truffle and rust. Dusk is available for the Men’s Ecotrek Trail Pants and shorts. Plum truffle is available for the Women’s Ecotrek Trail Pants and shorts. Rust is available in the Men’s and Women’s Flex Canvas Shorts. Brian O’Dea, community manager of LIVSN Designs, said its first use of rust was with the Forager Jacket, which was released in the fall.

“We don’t create new product types, color variants or anything on a whim until we are sure it fits our brand identity and audience needs,” Gibbs-Dabney said. “The LIVSN color palette centers on interesting earth tones and eye-catching but desaturated neutrals. These give each piece a wider usage window, ultimately adding toward their sustainability.”

LIVSN has six full-time employees and three part-time staff.
