Get jazzed up for traditional Christmas tunes as well as contemporary holiday favorites all dressed up in jazzy wrapping. Local jazz king Don Bailey and other jazz artists toot their own horn in special performances. Get ready for a musical sleigh ride that takes you from the Glenn Miller Orchestra era of Big Band to the more modern sounds of Christmas swing and jazz. Everything, from Irving Berlin’s "White Christmas" to arrangements by Sammy Nestico and the great Dave Wolpe, showcased in this chock-full-of-fun two hours. Kids, from one to 92, are sure to be thrilled by the River Valley’s finest musicians playing Mel Torme’s timeless classic "Christmas Song" and, of course, the ever-popular "Sleigh Ride."
