Elam joins Liberty Bank

Beverly Elam recently joined Liberty Bank as a business development officer for Crawford and Sebastian Counties in the central Arkansas region, according to Gregg Rotter, Crawford and Sebastian County president.

Elam has more than 26 years of banking and sales experience, with previous positions including treasury management sales representative, loan operations manager, branch manager and teller.

“We are excited to have Beverly as our newest team member,” Rotter said in a statement. “Her extensive banking and sales experience will be tremendous assets as we continue our focus on community banking and providing the best customer service and products.”

Elam will work in the Rogers Avenue banking center located in Fort Smith and will serve the Fort Smith and Van Buren markets.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Jonesboro-based Liberty Bancshares Inc., Liberty Bank of Arkansas has 45 locations in 24 communities with assets in excess of $2.6 billion.
