23rd Annual Oktoberfest

Come out and enjoy authentic German food and music at the 23rd annual Oktoberfest to benefit The Gregory Kistler Center. The event will be held at Columbus Acres and opens up Friday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m.  Alpenmusikanten will be the featured band again for some wonderful, fun music from 7-11 p.m.

Saturday, October 11 will start at noon. There will be games for kids both days (such as Cola Toss, Go Fish, Flip the Beanie, Face Painting, and more). Arts, Crafts, Various other food vendors, antique cars to look at, a Media Chili Challenge Sat. afternoon, music from the UAFS Polka Band around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and we will have Irish Dancers, Cloggers and Alpenmusikanten will play Sat. from 3-5 p.m. as well as 7-11 p.m.. Brats, German Potato Salad, the Biergarten, adult games, and a great raffle featuring 2 tickets on Northwest Airlines to anywhere in the continental U.S.  "Happy Brat" hour from 3-4:30 p.m.  No admission charge but we will take donations at the gate for the Kistler Center.
