Sarah White started at the bottom of the account leadership rung at advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi X four years ago.
Her ability to lead internal teams, build client relationships and grow revenue has her star on the rise in the region’s extensive supplier community. White has progressed through the company, including a promotion one year ago to senior account manager. She leads a team overseeing the hair, skin and personal care brands for Procter & Gamble’s global Walmart team. She is also a strategic voice for other suppliers including 3M and CoverGirl.
“A good day is good camaraderie and chemistry with your internal team and with your client,” she said.
A Memphis native educated at the University of Georgia, White arrived in Northwest Arkansas in the fall of 2011 with her fiancé (now husband), who was starting his doctorate education at the University of Arkansas.
To meet people and learn more about the area, she decided to get involved in the community through various civic and nonprofit groups, most notably with Network of Executive Women, Children’s Safety Center and Junior League of NWA. As a victim of child abuse, White said being involved with the Children’s Safety Center — where she now serves on the board of directors — is a passion.
“When I toured the center for the first time, I was overwhelmed,” she recalled. “I wanted to help.”
White is a graduate of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fayetteville program and has twice chaired the Children’s Safety Center’s annual Dream Big Charity Gala.
A professional goal on the horizon is to explore additional leadership opportunities in the nonprofit world.
