Local Author Signs Copies of I Sit in a Wheelchair…But I Will Be Okay”

I wrote a book called "I Sit in a Wheelchair…But I Will Be Okay.  This book was published in Feburary of this year by Stragetic/Eloquent Books.  This is about a five year old girl named Penny Brown who goes to school in a wheelchair.  She gets angry that she can’t walk or run or slide down the big slide like the other kids. 

 

I am having a Book Signing at Hastings Music and Book store 6800 Rogers Avenue next Saturday September 11th from noon-four.  The book is $12.00, and Michelle Oakley (My illustrator) and I will be happy to sign it for everyone.  I will also be reading the book to kids.

 

This book is based on my life, and I feel it has an important message.  Children can do anythi g they set their minds to.  The book is also available at www.amazon.com as well as www.barnesandnoble.com, and www.booksamillion.com  Copies are being sold at Hastings in Fort Smith right now.
