O.K. Foods exec named Industry Person of the Year

Kevin McDaniel, vice president of live production for Fort Smith-based O.K. Foods Inc., was voted Industry Person of the Year during the Arkansas, Oklahoma & Missouri Poultry Federation festival held June 11 in Rogers.
McDaniel has been in the poultry industry since 1989 and has served as the vice president of live production at O.K. Foods since 2007. He was instrumental in recruiting Dr. Michael Kidd as dean of the Poultry Science Department at the University of Arkansas, according to an O.K. Foods statement.
McDaniel also serves on the board of directors for The Poultry Federation.
