The Downtown Little Rock Partnership announced on Monday (April 3) the dates for the upcoming event series, Main Street Food Truck Fridays, and also for Main Street Food Truck Festival this fall. The culinary events are two of the city’s most popular, according to the partnership.

For Main Street Food Truck Fridays, a handful of “favorite” food trucks set up shop and are open for lunch on Fridays at the plaza at the corner of Main Street and Capitol Avenue in downtown Little Rock, according to the partnership.

The event runs in the spring and fall. This spring, the dates are April 21-June 23 and hours are 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Fridays during that date range.

More than 50 food trucks and vendors will be open for service along Main Street and Capitol Avenue at the 7th Annual Main Street Food Truck Festival on Oct. 7. Last year, more than 50,000 people attended the event, according to the partnership.

“Little Rock is fast becoming known for its incredible collection of food trucks,” Gabe Holmstrom, executive director of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, said in a press release. “We are excited to bring them downtown for Main Street Food Truck Fridays and the Main Street Food Truck Festival where residents, workers and visitors can all enjoy and celebrate this vibrant and delicious community.”
