Britton, Williamson join Sparks Health System staff

Michelle Britton and Cathy Williamson have joined the medical staff of Sparks Health System.

Britton will work as the hospital’s director of cardiovascular services effective June 1. She and her family are relocating from Southhaven, Miss., where she served in the same role with Baptist Memorial Health. Britton earned her master’s in nurse education and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has 18 years in the cardiovascular field.

Williamson will work as the hospital’s director of surgical services effective May 17. She and her family are moving from Eureka Springs where she served as director of surgical services. Williamson earned a master’s in science/health management at Troy University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has more than 29 years of nursing experience.
