Brad Doyle appointed as a director on the United Soybean Board
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) appointed Brad Doyle of Poinsett County to represent Arkansas as a United Soybean Board director. Doyle replaces Dustin Henson of Paragould, after the completion of two consecutive two-year terms. Doyle’s term runs through February 2029.
“Serving on the United Soybean Board allows me to advocate for Arkansas farmers and expand market access for our soybean industry,” Doyle said. “The checkoff strengthens demand for U.S. soybeans, advances research and delivers real value to farmers.”
Doyle brings extensive leadership experience to the role and currently serves as chairman of the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board, as a board member of the American Soybean Association, and on the boards of the Arkansas Agricultural Council, Arkansas Farm Bureau and the National Soybean and Grain Alliance. Previously, he served as chairman of both the American Soybean Association and th Arkansas Soybean Association.
In addition, Doyle participates in United Nations Conference of the Parties events as a farmer envoy, advocating for farmer-led climate and sustainability solutions. He also owns and operates a business specializing in forage soybeans for cattle and wildlife.
The United Soybean Board operates under the Soybean Promotion, Research and Consumer Information Act and is led by 77 volunteer farmer-leaders, including three from Arkansas, who work on behalf of all U.S. soybean farmers. These leaders guide national efforts funded by the soybean checkoff, a farmer-funded program designed to increase demand, strengthen on-farm resilience and deliver measurable value back to farmers. U.S. soybean farmers receive an estimated $12.34 for every dollar invested through checkoff-supported programs.
Board members represent 29 states, along with the Eastern and Western regions. Through partnerships, the checkoff supports food, feed, fuel, industrial uses, exports and sustainable production markets while strengthening the reputation of U.S. soy with customers nationwide and around the world.
