Baron Colby Hicks

Baron Colby Hicks, 25, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 in Rudy. He was born September 12, 2000 in Poteau. He worked in construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Melinda Hicks; and a niece, Anna Hicks.

He is survived by two brothers, Colton Hicks and wife Taryn of Fort Smith, and Kaleb Hicks of Durant, Oklahoma; his mother, Colleen Nick of Alma; and niece and nephew, Adeline Hicks and Flint Hicks.

Family-hosted memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026 at The Current Outreach Church, 2020 Dora Road, Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma.
