For more than nine years, Logan Towles ran a grain elevator. The Arkansas State University graduate was approached about selling chemicals to farmers, and she decided to change career paths.

She worked for a man in the industry for a while and eventually he wanted to retire and asked Towles to buy his business. She looked at the financials, and it didn’t make sense to buy the business, so she decided to start her own. Migration Ag was born in 2024.

Migration Ag specializes in finding chemicals and seeds farmers use in their fields. The company helps farmers find less expensive versions of what they are currently using. Unique challenges in this sector include price points that evolve daily and a high level of competitors.
