Acres.com, a Fayetteville-based land intelligence platform, was recently named a 2026 HousingWire Tech100 winner in the real estate category for Acres’ data-driven technology that helps builders, developers, lenders and investors evaluate land opportunities with greater speed, transparency and confidence.

Acres recently released four new data layers designed to support faster and more informed land acquisition decisions: building permits, traffic volumes, weekly satellite imagery and skip tracing. It also recently released new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities that allow customers to find land and evaluate development feasibility more quickly and easily.

The Tech100 program recognizes the most innovative and impactful technology organizations across mortgage, real estate and homebuilding. In its 14th year, the Tech100 program provides a list for real estate professionals seeking partners and solutions to address operational and market challenges.

Acres’ four new data layers will allow its users to evaluate land activity, growth patterns and ownership information, including phone numbers and email addresses for property owners.

The new AI capabilities will allow users to describe what they are looking for in plain language in the AI search bar. Customers will receive interactive results on the map, including physical characteristics, development constraints, infrastructure and land use considerations.

“Land decisions have always been slowed by fragmented data, complex regulations, and manual research,” said Carter Malloy, founder and CEO of Acres.com. “With our newest AI capabilities, we’re changing how teams interact with land intelligence itself. You can now search for opportunities in your own words, understand zoning constraints instantly, and validate feasibility directly on the map. It’s an unprecedented shift in speed, clarity, and confidence for anyone evaluating land.”

Acres.com has 70 full-time employees, including 13 remote workers.
