PAMT Q4 loss exceeds $29 million, revenue down 17.8%

Tontitown-based carrier PAMT Corp posted a loss and a double-digit revenue decline in the fourth quarter of 2025 and for the year. Revenue fell by 17.8% to $141.31 million from $166.53 million.

After the markets closed Friday (Feb. 13), PAMT reported a loss of $29.25 million, or a loss of $1.40 per share, compared to a loss of $31.57 million, or a loss of $1.45 per share, in the same period in 2024.

For 2025, PAMT reported a loss of $52.60 million, or a loss of $2.48 per share, compared to a loss of $31.79 million, or a loss of $1.45 per share, in 2024. Revenue declined by 16.3% to $598.05 million.

According to the company, it increased its auto-liability reserve by about $26.5 million in the fourth quarter because of a claim that was expected to settle in excess of insurance policy limits. Excluding the negative impact of this reserve increase, the company’s loss would have been $9.4 million, or a loss of 45 cents per share, in the fourth quarter and a loss of $32.8 million, or a loss of $1.55 per share, in 2025.

In the company’s logistics operations, revenue declined by 10% to $39.96 million from $44.40 million. For 2025, revenue fell by 19.3% to $166.97 million from $207.02 million.

Following are other fourth-quarter metrics compared with the same period in 2024.
• Total loads decreased to 88,543 from 93,778.
• Revenue per mile fell to $1.94 from $2.10.
• Average company-driver trucks declined to 1,559 from 1,754.
• Average owner-operator trucks decreased to 490 from 510.

Shares of PAMT (NASDAQ: PAMT) closed Friday at $11.81, down 5 cents or 0.42%. In the past 52 weeks, the stock has ranged between $8.90 and $17.29.
