PRSA announces 2026 board of directors and officers

The Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has announced the installation of its 2026 board of directors and officers.
The chapter presented its new leadership team Dec. 19, led by president Madeline Roberts, APR, public relations manager at The Peacock Group. Roberts succeeded Stella Prather, APR, communications director at Empower Healthcare Solutions, who will continue to be the immediate past president.
Newly installed board and officers include:
- President: Madeline Roberts, APR, public relations manager, The Peacock Group
- President-Elect: Allison Bermudez, APR, PR director, Stone Ward
- Vice President: Shealyn Sowers, account supervisor, Ghidotti
- Secretary: Brooke Wilson, APR, principal and founder, StoryLine Solutions
- Treasurer: Jessica Hughes Ford, APR, president and chief executive officer, Arkansas Community Foundation
- Director-At-Large, PRSSA Chapter Liaison: Dr. Carrie Phillips, APR, chief communications and marketing officer, University of Arkansas – Little Rock
- Ethics Officer: Carson Horn, APR, vice president of PR, The Communications Group Inc.
Officers continuing their three-year term include:
- Director-At-Large, Prisms: Allyson Pittman Gattin, APR, public relations director, The Peacock Group
- Director-At-Large, Assembly Delegate and APR: Sandra McGrew, APR, executive director, Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI)
- Director-At-Large, Membership: Libby Doss Lloyd, APR, director of communications, Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau
The primary responsibility of the board of directors for the Arkansas chapter of PRSA is to serve the chapter through strategic and high-level operational oversight, identifying challenges and creating solutions. Each role of the board has unique responsibilities pertaining to the chapter’s needs and goals.
The local PRSA chapter hosts monthly meetings every third Friday of the month featuring speakers and panel discussions to support the continued professional development of its more than 120 members. The guest fee is $25 and the student fee is $10. Members are free.
The next meeting will take place Friday, Jan. 16, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Red & Blue Events Venue.
