Anita Louise Cook

Anita Louise Cook, 88 of Prairie Grove passed away on Monday, December 7, 2025 in her home. She was a bookkeeper for Best Foods System and a lifelong resident of Alma. She was a 1955 graduate of Alma High School and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Alma. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Cook, Sr. and her parents Garland and Mamie (Winborn) Harris.

She is survived by four sons: Franklin Ray Cook Jr of Prairie Grove, Henry Cook of Dallas, Texas, Mike Cook of South Carolina and John Cook of Hope, Arkansas; two sisters: Ruth Welsh and Charlene Fite both of Van Buren; one brother: Gano Harris of Hideaway, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday December 10, 2025, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Carson Womack, Corbin Womack, Nicholas Cook, Jonathan Cook, Benjamin Cook and Joseph Barnes.
