First National Bank of Fort Smith and First National Bank of NWA are rebranding to F1RSTNB. The banks will have the same logo and name “for unification and clarification while positioning for growth,” according to a press release.

The name and logo will change over the coming months “to help customers and the community retain brand awareness.”

The bank’s other divisions, including Trust & Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Central Arkansas, will also undergo logo changes.

“I am very excited about our new name and logo,” said Sam Sicard, CEO of First National Bank of Fort Smith. “It’s classy, strong, unique and still embodies our heritage and history of First National Bank of Fort Smith and our 153-year legacy.”

“I love the name F1RSTNB,” said Rob Husong, president of First National Bank of NWA. “It is fresh, strong, and unique from other banks. The logo is easily recognizable and still holds elements of our previous logos.”

The Fort Smith-based bank has 27 locations and 311 employees in the Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas metro areas. The bank has $2.22 billion in total assets as of March 31, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
