Little Rock-based restaurant chain The Purple Cow has secured a lease for its first Northwest Arkansas location, according to a Tuesday (March 11) news release. It will be the company’s seventh Arkansas restaurant.

The 5,976-square-foot restaurant at 3300 S. Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers is set to open by late summer or early fall 2025. It will be at the former site of Carrabba’s and Blackberry Brasserie in the Pinnacle Hills area. The restaurant company declined to comment on its investment, but city officials said the remodel is valued at $850,000. That price does not include furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

“We’re beyond excited to bring The Purple Cow to Northwest Arkansas,” said Ken Vaughan, president of The Purple Cow. “This location in Rogers is the perfect fit for our brand, with fantastic neighbors and a central location. We’re grateful to Colliers Arkansas for their key role in securing this space, and we can’t wait to be a part of this wonderful community.”

The new restaurant will offer a variety of classic diner menu items, area programs, and partnerships with Arkansas-based companies, according to the company. The restaurant is known for its retro decor, purple milkshakes, and a wide range of comfort food, including burgers, salads, and sandwiches.

“We opened almost 36 years ago in central Arkansas, and we’re excited to finally expand into Northwest Arkansas,” Vaughan said. “This new location gives us the opportunity to connect more closely with our loyal fans and introduce The Purple Cow to those who haven’t had the chance to experience us yet.”

Chris Pryor will manage the new location and is the director of operations for the Northwest Arkansas market. The company plans to hire about 100 part-time and full-time staff.
